Prestigious victory

The undoubted highlight of the season came right at the end when Richard Verschoor beat all the favorites in the FIA F3 World Cup through the streets of Macau, making history for the team. In the Formula Renault Eurocup, Victor Martins and Lorenzo Colombo took second and fourth respectively after a close-fought season, while Jordan King returned to MP to claim F2 podiums at Baku and Monza.

Highlights

Talent ladder

MP Motorsport completed its single-seater talent ladder by taking over the DAMS entry in GP3. The team now boasted all steps of the ladder to Formula 1: from Formula 4 and Formula Renault to GP3 and F2.

2013

Highlights

Battling on four fronts

2013 became the busiest year for MP in history up until that date, as the team continued in AutoGP, the Eurocup and NEC. On top of that, it embarked an adventure in GP2 where MP took over the entry and assets of Scuderia Coloni. With this takeover, MP became the first Dutch team ever to compete in GP2.
